Catch the latest block faster by using our daily snapshots.

Snapshot

Chain ID: {{ chain_id }} | Latest Version Tag: v1.27.2

Snapshots allows a new node to join the network by recovering application state from a backup file. Snapshot contains compressed copy of chain data directory. To keep backup files as small as plausible, snapshot server is periodically beeing state-synced.

Snapshots are taken automatically every 24 hours

Instructions

Stop the service and reset the data

sudo systemctl stop {{ network }}
cp $HOME/{{ folder }}/data/priv_validator_state.json $HOME/{{ folder }}/priv_validator_state.json.backup
rm -rf $HOME/{{ folder }}/data

Download latest snapshot

curl -L https://snapshots.stakeandrelax.net/snapshots/{{ network }}/snapshot_latest.tar.lz4 | tar -Ilz4 -xf - -C $HOME/{{ folder }}
mv $HOME/{{ folder }}/priv_validator_state.json.backup $HOME/{{ folder }}/data/priv_validator_state.json

Add seeds

sed -i -e "s|^seeds *=.*|seeds = \"[email protected]:27056\"|" $HOME/{{ folder }}/config/config.toml

Restart the service and check the log

sudo systemctl start {{ network }} && sudo journalctl -u {{ network }} -f --no-hostname -o cat
